NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - A New York anchor's recent F-bomb on live TV hasn't seemed to hurt her career.
Sue Simmons, a fixture at NBC-owned WNBC for almost 30 years, caused a stir this month when she swore during a live promo for the station's 11 p.m. newscast. She apologized for the remark during the newscast and then again in a statement. The controversy didn't stop WNBC from giving Simmons the choice 6 p.m. newscast duties with co-anchor Chuck Scarborough.
