NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Reuters) - Teenage singing star Taylor Swift, who swept the top Country Music Association awards this week, also garnered the CMA's International Artist Achievement Award during a rehearsal for Wednesday's show.

Before taking the Entertainer of the Year prize and awards in three other categories, the 19-year-old Swift was surprised backstage by the duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, who presented her with the fifth award, CMA officials said.

The award, won by Brooks and Dunn last year, recognized her global tours and sales of her album "Fearless," which went gold or platinum in 14 countries.
