Tropicana raising orange juice prices

NEW YORK, March 10 (Reuters) - PepsiCo Inc (PEP.N) will downsize its 64-ounce cartons of Tropicana orange juice to 59 ounces but leave the price unchanged, after cold weather damaged Florida’s orange crop.

Tropicana, the largest U.S. brand of orange juice, will also raise the price of its gallon carton but has no current packaging that allows it to downsize it.

Tropicana said the Florida citrus industry had suffered the most devastating winter freeze and the smallest crop in 20 years. (Reporting by Martinne Geller; editing by John Wallace)
