(Reuters) - The outcome of Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary showdown between Democratic presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton could provide clues on what to expect as other states become electoral battlegrounds.

Following is a set of U.S. Census Bureau statistics that compare Pennsylvania residents with the national average:

* Persons below poverty line ..... 12.1 pct ....... 13.3 pct

* Bachelor's degree or higher..... 25.4 pct ....... 27.0 pct

* Median home value............... $145,200 ....... $185,200
