WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush on Thursday said he was confident in the long-term outlook for the U.S. economy.

"I'm confident in our economy's long-term prospects, we'll get through this deal," Bush said at a White House event to celebrate Hispanic heritage month.

He again called on Congress to approve free trade agreements with Panama and Colombia.
