USTR investigating reports China blocks U.S. poultry

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government is concerned about industry reports that China will stop issuing import permits for chicken, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Trade Representative said Thursday.

The USTR and U.S. Agriculture Department are investigating the reports, Debbie Mesloh said.
