WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama's jobs forum next month will not be a discussion on a second stimulus package, a White House aide said on Thursday, rather part of an ongoing process to lift employment.

Obama said earlier that he was open to any demonstrably good idea to improve U.S. employment, recognizing that the country was tackling the problem with limited resources.

Investors worry that additional government spending could mean an even larger budget deficit, which must be financed through the issuance of government debt.
