Supreme Court won't review tamoxifen case

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Supreme Court said on Monday that it would not review a case challenging patent settlements between major drugmakers and their generic rivals.

The case centers on a lawsuit challenging a settlement deal between Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. and AstraZeneca involving the cancer drug tamoxifen.
