LIFE Delivers Medical Supplies to Somalia

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing
efforts to alleviate human suffering, the American-based relief organization,
Life for Relief and Development (LIFE), recently shipped an entire forty-foot
container of urgently needed medical supplies to Somalia.

In partnership with California-based RICE International Relief Organization
(RICE) and Minnesota-based American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa
(ARAHA), two American non-governmental humanitarian organizations, LIFE sent
this shipment of medical equipment, medical instruments, and other health care
supplies to be used in the local hospitals in Somalia.

The medical supplies, valued at about $300,000, will be delivered to the
neglected hospitals treating the sick and injured in Somalia.

Commenting on the medical shipment, LIFE President & CEO Dr. Mujahid Al-Fayadh
stated, "This shipment is part of our ongoing humanitarian campaign to help
ease the suffering of the people of the Horn of Africa. This neglected part of
the world urgently needs help and we feel obligated to assist."

RICE in cooperation with LIFE also intends to send more medical supplies to
