Ron Paul Readies Offices in Southeast Michigan
Republican presidential candidate staffing up, laying foundations
for Jan. 15 primary
DETROIT--(Business Wire)--Christmas came early for Republican presidential candidate Ron
Paul as the Ron Paul 2008 campaign opened offices in Michigan on
Saturday. In what supporters termed, "The Great Ron Paul Michigan
Move-In," offices were readied for business, with grand openings
planned for December 27, after the holidays.
Two offices are opening simultaneously in Detroit and Flint. The
Detroit office is at 19005 Telegraph Road, near Seven Mile Road in the
14th congressional district. In Flint, the office is within the 5th
congressional district, at 3080 Miller Road.
"We are excited to be readying the offices for our grand opening
on December 27th," said Paul Michigan state coordinator Leslie
Roszman. "They are located in two areas where Dr. Paul enjoys a large
amount of grassroots support."
"Dr. Paul's message of freedom, peace, and prosperity resonates
strongly through southeast Michigan, and these office openings are
steps towards victory on January 15th," added Roszman.
The Paul campaign has also staffed up significantly in the past
week, appointing Pete Mackin and Jeffery Palmer as Upper Peninsula and
Northern Michigan coordinators, respectively, in addition to multiple
other hirings.
Michigan's presidential primary will take place on January 15,
2008.
