J.F. Kiely Construction Co.: Blue and Yellow Is Now Green
LONG BRANCH, N.J., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- J.F. Kiely Construction Co. kicked
off its environmental awareness campaign by providing reusable shopping bags
to its employees, promoting the concept of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. "The
bags, which replace disposable plastic shopping bags, both lessen the amount
of material going into landfills and reduce the amount of energy spent to
manufacture disposable bags," said John M. Kiely, President of J.F. Kiely
Construction Co.
Kiely continued, "Over the past few years we have implemented many ways to
lessen the impact our business has on the environment. These include recycling
wastewater at our facilities, reusing waste oil to heat our maintenance shops
and also recycling paper, plastic and toner cartridges from our offices. Our
next step is to encourage our employees to generate new ideas that apply to
our business on how to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle."
