Company to Demonstrate Carrier and Subscriber Benefits of Growing Voice
Application Market
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(Business Wire)--
BroadSoft Connections 2009

Ditech Networks (NASDAQ:DITC - News), a global leader in mobile voice processing
solutions, today announced that it will be presenting at BroadSoft Connections
2009, BroadSoft`s annual executive users' conference. Ditech will demonstrate
toktok, an innovative new voice application that it is developing to enable
carriers to offer their subscribers unique, speech-powered productivity and call
control features, and Ditech`s new suite of SimulScribe voice-to-text services.

Ditech`s toktok application will provide voice web access over a regular phone
call. Unlike other voice applications that run on devices or servers, the toktok
application will run on the carrier`s network, providing them with the ability
to offer revenue generating, voice-enabled applications to any of its customers
- even those without smart phones. In coordination with Ditech`s mStage Media
Processor, the toktok Application Suite will enable service providers to offer
to their subscribers toktok`s speech enabled, mid-call functionality that cannot
be found in any other voice application. toktok also has an open API, which will
allow developers to create compelling applications that carriers can take to
market.

"We are excited Ditech is attending BroadSoft Connections 2009," said Leslie
Ferry, vice president of marketing, BroadSoft. "Ditech`s toktok solution, which
will be showcased in our Consumer Pavilion, will demonstrate how Voice Command
Integration delivers a compelling service that enables consumers to be more
productive and safe."

Ditech also offers superior voice-to-text transcription services, as a result of
its recently announced exclusive, strategic relationship with SimulScribe. In
addition, SimulAuto, Simulscribe`s fully automated voice-to-text solution, is
integrated within the toktok application. Ditech will discuss how its
industry-leading Voice Quality Assurance (VQA) technology in combination with
the SimulScribe VTT service will allow carriers to offer users voice
transcription of the highest possible quality. Recent company studies have shown
voice recognition accuracy can be significantly improved by employing VQA to
reduce background noise and clarify speech.

"BroadSoft Connections is an ideal event to present how toktok and SimulScribe
can make voice a growth opportunity for carriers," said Karl Brown, vice
president of marketing in Ditech Networks. "Making voice the gateway to new
value-added applications will allow operators to leverage their core
competencies to gain new revenue streams. BroadSoft`s philosophy on the
telecommunications industry is closely aligned with our own and we are excited
about the future possibilities between the two organizations."

BroadSoft Connections 2009 will be held at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona
from October 25-28.
