Dynamics Research Corporation Receives Further Air Force Depot Work Through
DESP-II Worth $8M

ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamics Research Corporation
(Nasdaq:DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting,
engineering, and technology solutions to federal and state governments, today
announced that it received its 16th and 17th task orders under the Air Force's
Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP-II) contract to support the C-5
Landing Gear Integrity Program (LGIP) and the KC-135 Maintenance Burden Solution
development (MBSD). The contracts have a combined projected value of $8.0
million.

The C-5 Landing Gear Integrity Program (LGIP) is a two-year and nine months
contract with a projected total value of $4.8 million. The task order was
awarded through Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base and involves
conducting a Functional Systems Integrity Program (FSIP) study of the C-5
landing gear system. DRC and subcontractor General Atomics will identify system
deficiencies and their root causes and the impact such deficiencies have on the
fleet.

The KC-135 System Program Office Maintenance Burden Solution development (MBSD),
awarded through Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base, is
a $1.1M, 20-month, basic effort and has a projected total value of $3.2 million
including the two optional tasks extending the total period of performance to
two years and nine months. Under the terms of the KC-135 MBSD task order, DRC
and subcontractor General Atomics will develop solutions aimed at improving
KC-135 aircraft system technical order maintenance practices, processes and
aircraft system changes. Project methods and results will all aim to increase
aircraft availability at a lower cost.
