The Planet to Host Texas IPv6 Conference

HOUSTON--(Business Wire)--

Texas IPv6 Task Force. Scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 3-4, at its
headquarters in downtown Houston, more than 100 participants are expected for

The Texas IPv6 Task Force (TXv6TF) is a sub-chapter of the IPv6 Forum, which is
dedicated to the advancement and propagation of the IPv6 Internet Protocol in
Texas and its surrounding states. Comprised of individual members rather than
corporate sponsors, the TXv6TF mission is to provide technical leadership and
innovative thought for the successful integration of IPv6 into all facets of
networking and telecommunications infrastructure.

With the transition to IPv6 already begun, the event provides a learning forum
for participants as they prepare for the emerging technology trends and learn
how IPv6 will transform communications over the next 20 years.
