HANFORD, Calif., July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Thresher Industries, Inc.
(Pink Sheets: THRR), a California-based manufacturer of precision recycled
aluminum and advanced metal matrix composite parts, today announced it has
shipped its second military order of 2009 from Onodi Tool & Engineering
Company ("Onodi"). Year-to-date, Thresher has provided a number of quotes for
various parts to Onodi, a privately-held manufacturer and assembler serving
the United States Government and Tier One combat vehicle manufacturers for
over 35 years, based in Melville Michigan.

Commenting on the order, Tom Flessner, President and CEO of Thresher
Industries, Inc., said, "Our initial order for Onodi was extremely well
received, and quickly led to a second larger order for military parts. This
order was shipped within schedule, and is realized as revenues in the second
quarter. While other foundries may be reporting lower production levels,
Thresher is moving full steam ahead. We are focusing on expanding our key
customer relationships like Onodi, as well as attracting new customers that
can create a growing and diversified revenue base," said Tom Flessner,
President and CEO of Thresher Industries, Inc.

Since 2004, Thresher has helped Onodi and other leading manufacturers
successfully meet the mission-critical requirements of the U.S. Military. The
lightweight, reinforced strength of Thresher's 100% recycled aluminum castings
are safe for the environment and offer distinct operational and cost
advantages during military vehicle use. Thresher's parts can help decrease
vehicle weight, which in turn lowers fuel costs and increases the vehicle's
capacity to integrate heavier armor application for greater protection.
