NetClarity Wins U.S. Patent for Next Generation Network Access Control Appliance: NACwall

BOSTON--(Business Wire)--
NetClarity, a leading provider of NACwall(TM) (network access
control wall) appliances, announced that the U.S. Patent Office today
issued patent No. 7346922 for their NACwall technology.

The technology is at the heart of NetClarity's line of EasyNAC
appliances which range from a hand-held sized unit for an office of
ten to a single rack-mounted unit that protects networks of more than
2,000 IP addresses. These appliances can also be deployed in clusters
and communicate from remote offices back to the correlating EasyNAC
Enterprise dashboard at headquarters.

Because of NACwall's ability to work as a non-inline solution and
without client-based technology, installing an EasyNAC appliance takes
just a matter of minutes on a subnet and less than 20 minutes to
become fully operational. By not requiring system-wide network
upgrades of switches and routers, the installed cost of EasyNAC on the
network is typically ten to 20 times less than its competitors.

"Behind every firewall, there needs to be a NACwall. Our proven
technology to stop malicious insiders and external hackers combined
with the award of today's patent will aid NetClarity as we continue to
expand our worldwide footprint," said NetClarity's Chief Technology
Officer Gary Miliefsky. NetClarity's products are already being
distributed in 35 countries through market leading information
security channel partners throughout the globe.
