ZyLAB Records Management & Archiving System Supports EULEX Requirements for
Collecting, Searching and Publishing Vast Amounts of Content
MCLEAN, Va.--(Business Wire)--
ZyLAB, an innovative developer of Information Access Solutions, today announced
that it is a finalist for KMWorld Magazine`s annual Knowledge Management (KM)
Reality award. This award recognizes an organization in which knowledge
management has become a positive reality. The recipient of the KM Reality award
is a company demonstrating leadership in the implementation of knowledge
management practices and processes by realizing measurable business benefits.
ZyLAB submitted its work for the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo
(EULEX) for this award.

EULEX required an off-the-shelf web-based document and records management system
capable of collecting, searching, and publishing terabytes of information, and
supporting 300 concurrent users. The ZyLAB Records Management and Archiving
(RMA) system fosters enterprise-wide corporate governance to minimize
disruptions and risks from future litigation or regulatory audits. ZyLAB RMA
supports the creation, maintenance, and removal of millions of dynamic and
static files - from board meeting minutes, to human resource records, to e-mail
and multimedia, and any other content archives. In addition to the basic
information access and records management functionality, ZyLAB also provided
EULEX with advanced multi-lingual text-analytics and visualization technology
which integrates automatically with Google Maps.

In order to submit for this award, the knowledge management solution must have
been in place for a minimum of one year, have demonstrated senior management
support, and have defined metrics in place to evaluate the program and its
impact on organizational goals. The winners, chosen by a panel of judges, will
be announced at KMWorld 2009 taking place November 17-19 at the San Jose McEnery
Convention Center in San Jose, Ca.
