                                Resources

WHAT: Californians for Patient Care (CPC) will host a free luncheon to
discuss free healthcare resources available to Californians, how
potential budget cuts will impact the healthcare of nearly 7
million patients statewide as well as patient advocacy rights.

On a daily basis, media outlets report on the economic
uncertainty in California. While decisions are being made in
Sacramento regarding the Governor's proposed budget cuts, CPC is
working to increase awareness among patients statewide of how
              their Medi-Cal will be affected.

    WHERE: Community Coalition
              8101 S. Vermont Avenue
              Los Angeles, CA 90044

WHO: California State Assembly Majority Leader and Speaker-Elect
Karen Bass will provide information regarding the Governor's
Proposed Budget and how it will negatively impact the healthcare
of nearly 7 million Californians who depend on Medi-Cal for
              their healthcare needs.

TMJ and Orofacial Pain Society (TOPS) of America President/CEO
Elizabeth Helms will share her patient-advocacy experience and
provide information on how patients can learn their rights
regarding healthcare to ensure their needs are being met.

CPC Executive Director Maria Robles will highlight
MyHealthResource.Org, a new online resource that is free,
easy-to-use and designed to help patients find low-cost or
              no-cost healthcare in California.
