Information Technology Service Provider Will Employ S-Series
Application Acceleration to Speed Global Customer Collaboration
BURLINGTON, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
Certeon, the industry's only vendor to securely accelerate
mission-critical applications effectively, today announces the
addition of BrightPlanIT to its Partner Acceleration Program.
BrightPlanIT is leveraging Certeon's S-Series(TM) Appliances to
enhance the productivity of its global customers' mission-critical
applications over the Wide Area Network (WAN).

BrightPlanIT offers consulting services based on a multiphase
guideline methodology for best-performance IT project implementation.
With its global customer base represented by more than 70 countries,
the company needed a solution that could accelerate application
response times and address the latency and bandwidth problems inherent
to the WAN. Using Certeon's S-Series, BrightPlanIT's customers are
able to securely accelerate Microsoft(R) SharePoint(R), MOSS and
various Web applications, all of which are mission critical and
directly affect business productivity. Certeon's S-Series is
pre-loaded with an Application Acceleration Blueprint(TM) for
SharePoint, which contains specific knowledge of the application at
the object level--allowing Certeon to dramatically speed response
times for BrightPlanIT's customers.

"BrightPlanIT considered other players in the space, but we were
immediately drawn to Certeon's strong technical support and unique
Blueprint approach to securely accelerating content," said Skip Gould,
President and CEO of BrightPlan IT. "Certeon brings best-of-breed
technology to our installed account base and will play a fundamental
role in enhancing the future rollouts of these applications."

Certeon offers three models of Application Acceleration
Appliances: the S-1000, S-2000 and S-3000, supporting small branch
offices, regional offices and large data centers, respectively. In
addition to the SharePoint and MOSS Blueprints, Certeon has
Application Acceleration Blueprints for 2007 Microsoft(R) Office(TM),
Microsoft File Services (CIFS), EMC(R) Documentum(R) and eRoom(R), as
well as Office 2003. Certeon's S-Series accelerates all WAN traffic
including encrypted SSL traffic to ensure end-to-end data security and
integrity.

"Collaborative applications such as SharePoint are truly driving
the innovation of today's enterprise," said Peter Dougherty, CEO,
Certeon. "By employing acceleration strategies to these applications,
BrightPlanIT's customers can now ensure that the speed of
collaboration keeps a competitive pace within the distributed
enterprise."
