BLACKS IN NEW YORK SAY, THEY ARE FIRST TO GO AND LAST TO BE HIRED

NEW YORK, July 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rhema Temple Ministries is asking
the EEOC to investigate what they say appears to be widespread racism by
employers in New York City. Rhema Temple Ministries operates two programs in
New York City that serve the under employed, hard to employ and unemployed
populations -- Project H.O.T.E.P. (Helping Others To Elevate and Prosper) and
Project F.I.N.D. (Former Inmates with New Direction).

Program Director, Olivia Jackson-Fraser, says, "In light of the recent New
York Times Article on Blacks losing their jobs at exponentially higher rates
than their white counterparts, it is imperative that there be some type of
inquiry by the EEOC as to why."

Mrs. Fraser believes it is important because their programs are charged with
the awesome task of transitioning the most vulnerable into work environments
that are both fruitful and sustainable. The current crisis makes that
virtually impossible. "We are presently looking to expand our operations and
are in desperate need of donated Property to house former inmates and former
homeless participants, in addition to suitable attire for them to wear at job
interviews." All donations can be sent to:

690 Gates Ave
Brooklyn, NY11221

Rhema Temple Ministries is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization serving the
New York City area.
