Himax Technologies Schedules Second Quarter 2009 Financial Results Conference Call

(Nasdaq:HIMX) today announced it will hold a conference call with investors and
analysts on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 7:00 a.m. Taiwan time (Wednesday, August
5 at 7:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Daylight Time) to discuss the Company's second
quarter 2009 financial results.

disseminated in New York on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 after the NASDAQ stock
