EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--(Business Wire)--
Ingenix, a leading provider of health care information, technology and
consulting services, today announced that John G. Nackel has been appointed
chief executive officer of Ingenix Consulting, and executive vice president of
Ingenix, effective immediately. In his new role, Nackel oversees the largest
health care and human services-focused consultancy in the U.S., leading the
further development of a business that helps providers, payers, government
agencies, life-science and emerging health companies achieve their objectives
for growth, performance and capital.

Nackel succeeds Ted Chien, who led Ingenix Consulting successfully for four
years.

"John`s deep industry and client-service experience combines with his visionary
and innovative leadership to make him the right person to help Ingenix
Consulting in our mission to deliver meaningful, transformative solutions to our
clients` most important challenges," said Ingenix CEO Andy Slavitt. "The

entrepreneurs and emerging businesses, Nackel is one of the industry`s foremost
performance improvement experts. Most recently, Nackel was Chairman and CEO of
Three-Sixty Advisory Group, LLC, a business he founded to help emerging health
care services and medical technology companies accelerate their growth,
efficiency and capital. Nackel also was the global managing director of Health
Care Consulting at Ernst & Young. Under his leadership, that division grew to an
over $1 billion consulting services business. In addition, Nackel has served as
managing director of New Ventures, Ernst & Young`s venture capital fund, and as
CEO of Sogeti North America, the professional services division of Capgemini.

"Ingenix Consulting has the health care market`s deepest collection of expertise
and results-oriented analytic capabilities, all focused on finding the best,
practical solutions to the problems facing clients and the industry at large,"
said Nackel. "Ingenix Consulting is filled with passionate, brilliant

supporting the industry with information and technologies. I am excited to join
and lead this business."
