Recognized for Quadrupling Its Revenue Over Eight Consecutive Quarters
STOCKHOLM--(Business Wire)--
Xelerated, the global leader in field-proven Carrier Ethernet and Unified Fiber
Access ASSP-based chipsets, was recognized by the Global Semiconductor Alliance
(GSA) as a winner of the Outstanding Financial Performance by a Private
Semiconductor Company. Recognized for quadrupling its revenue over eight
consecutive quarters, this achievement solidifies Xelerated`s leadership
position in the Carrier Ethernet and unified fiber access markets.

"We are very proud of our growth and strong financial success to date, and we
feel privileged to be recognized by the Global Semiconductor Alliance with this
prestigious award," said Thomas Axelsson, CEO at Xelerated. "We have grown
considerably over the past two years despite hard economic times, making this
win a significant achievement for us."

With members spanning more than 25 countries, the GSA strives to accelerate the
growth and increase the return on invested capital of the global semiconductor
industry. The GSA enlisted PricewaterhouseCoopers to determine which private
semiconductor companies experienced the highest revenue growth during the
designated time period.

"Each year, we recognize companies that have demonstrated excellence through
their vision, strategy, execution and future opportunity," said Jodi Shelton,
president at the Global Semiconductor Alliance. "We extend our sincere
congratulations to Xelerated for its outstanding financial accomplishments, and
look forward to recognizing them and all other honorees at our awards dinner
celebration in Santa Clara on December 10."

Xelerated serves the Carrier Ethernet and unified fiber access markets with its
network processors and programmable Ethernet switches, respectively. All chips
are based on the company`s highly-efficient dataflow architecture, a
deterministic packet processing architecture that is wirespeed by design.
Xelerated`s solutions target a wide range of platform types, covering several
network segments with different sets of feature and bandwidth requirements.
