The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the General
Services Administration (GSA) will dedicate the new ATF National Headquarters
building in Washington, D.C. The building will be ATF's first permanent home.

The opening of the new headquarters consolidates most ATF headquarters
employees into one location and provides a building that meets the
government's new stringent security requirements. This facility will also
serve to support the revitalization of the emerging downtown area north of
Massachusetts Avenue, known as NoMa, and will serve as a gateway building
along the busy New York Avenue corridor into the city.
