ATF, GSA to Dedicate ATF's New National Headquarters
10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the General Services Administration (GSA) will dedicate the new ATF National Headquarters building in Washington, D.C. The building will be ATF's first permanent home. The opening of the new headquarters consolidates most ATF headquarters employees into one location and provides a building that meets the government's new stringent security requirements. This facility will also serve to support the revitalization of the emerging downtown area north of Massachusetts Avenue, known as NoMa, and will serve as a gateway building along the busy New York Avenue corridor into the city.
