Who: ROAD & TRAVEL Magazine (RTM) presents its 2008 ICOTY Awards

What:
-- The 12th Annual International Car of the Year Awards (ICOTY), will
recognize the Top 10 vehicles for 2008 including: International Car
of the Year, International Truck of the Year, Most Sex Appeal (sports
car), Most Athletic (pickup truck), Most Resourceful (SUV), Most
Respected (luxury), Most Compatible (minivan), Most Dependable
(Sedan), Most Spirited (entry level) and Most Versatile (crossover).
U.S. Congressman John D. Dingell will present opening remarks.

-- The inaugural EARTH ANGEL AWARD will be presented honoring the most
environmentally friendly automaker, a first in the auto industry.
U.S. Senator Carl Levin will speak on the success of automakers in
the fight against global warming, and will also announce the winning
automaker.

-- The annual Lifetime Achievement Award will honor veteran automotive
journalist Thos L. Bryant, editor-in-chief of Road & Track, whose
work has appeared in Road & Track, Pickup Van & 4 Wheel Drive and
Road & Track specials. Former recipients Denise McCluggage, David E.
Davis Jr. and Jim Dunne will also be in attendance.

-- RTM will present its annual HEART STRING Award to an automaker and
agency for the most emotionally compelling car commercial that ran on
national TV in 2007.

chief of RTM. Coined the "Academy Awards of Cars," ICOTY has become the
