SCHILLER PARK, Ill.--(Business Wire)--
Schiller Park Restaurateur Brian Great has single-handedly bought and installed

"Big Windy,"

a 112-foot, horizontal-axis, wind turbine that will produce more than 100
percent of the electric power needed to run The Great Escape Restaurant. All
excess power the turbine produces will go to the ComEd grid to supplement the
power needs of the surrounding community. Up to 36 homes could be powered by the
turbine when it is not providing power for the restaurant.

The turbine`s annual operation will save the equivalent of:

· 274.5 METRIC TONS OF CARBON DIOXIDE or

· 31,155 GALLONS OF GASOLINE or

· 639 BARRELS OF OIL or

· 50 AUTOMOBILES.

The cost estimate is expected to provide a Carbon Neutral energy footprint that
benefits the environment-and all of us.

Media are invited to cover the initiation of operation of the wind turbine via
two different opportunities:

OPPORTUNITY #1:

* INDIVIDUAL PRESS PREVIEW DAY BY APPOINTMENT on
* THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, at
* THE GREAT ESCAPE RESTAURANT at 9540 Irving Park Road in Schiller Park,
Illinois, (just a few blocks west of River Road, on the north side of Irving
Park)
* MEDIA MAY TOUR SITE AND TURBINE -- BIG WINDY -- WITH OWNER/OPERATOR BRIAN
GREAT INDIVIDUALLY.
* Call 312/861-0980 for appointment time.

OPPORTUNITY #2:

* OFFICIAL DEDICATION OF THE TURBINE on
* FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 AT NOON, WHEN MR. GREAT AND THE HON. ANNA MONTANA, mayor of
Schiller Park, IL, whose progressive village is the first municipality to issue
a permit for a major wind turbine so close to a major urban center, will
participate in A CELEBRATORY SPRAY OF CHAMPAGNE and an official flip of the
switch to make the Big Windy take its first spin.

Mr. Great spent two years and $300,000 to create something that would benefit
the environment as much as his business. It took a small fortune and much time
to develop a wind turbine, but he did it, all on his own. Now he wants to send
out the message that if he can do it (in terms of doing something beneficial for
the environment), anyone can do it.
