New Small Business Product Now Available in New York, New Hampshire, Virginia,
Tennessee and Maryland
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(Business Wire)--
The Main Street America Group has introduced its new Main Line business owners
policy (BOP) property and liability insurance product and Main Street Station
for Commercial Lines quoting and policy issuance system to its independent
agents in New York State, New Hampshire, Virginia, Tennessee and Maryland.

The product and system are now available in 14 of the states where Main Street
America writes commercial lines business.

Nearly 500 of the super regional property-casualty insurance carrier`s
independent agents from New York State, Main Street America`s largest state in
terms of premium volume, attended kickoff meetings throughout the Empire State
to learn about the new product`s broad eligibility, and new and expanded
coverages. Kickoff meetings were also well-attended by the company`s independent
agent distribution force in the other four new launch states.

The product features 10 programs - condominium associations, garages,
restaurants, light manufacturing, wholesale, retail, services, offices,
apartments and contractor programs - with nearly 500 eligible classes.

The new product also has significantly increased limits, with many new or
expanded coverages. What`s more, coverage can be extended with the product`s
many new options, such as product withdrawal, and condominium directors and
officers, and Main Line Extension and contractors inland marine endorsements.

"Main Street America`s market is `Main Street` businesses, which even with the
recent economic conditions, continues to be the fastest growing segment of the
U.S. economy," said Henry Pippins, Main Street America`s vice president of
commercial lines. "With this in mind, we designed Main Line BOP with much
broader eligibility than our previous BOP product, so that approximately 85
percent of the small business market would qualify."

"Moreover, to improve the competitiveness of our product, we automatically
include a generous array of coverages, along with expanded limits and options,"
Pippins continued. "The reception to Main Line BOP has been huge in the market -
we have experienced triple-digit increases in the nine states where we
previously introduced the new product."

Over the past year, Main Street America`s new BOP product and commercial lines
processing system has been implemented in Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia,
Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Utah.

Like the other nine states, Main Street America`s independent agents in New
York, New Hampshire, Virginia, Tennessee and Maryland will quote and submit new
business applications for Main Line BOP on the company`s new Main Street Station
for Commercial Lines quoting and processing system.

The new system features real time rating, automated underwriting and business
submission, all from one central place.

"Our new system makes it a snap to quote and submit business. Our agents
appreciate the system`s intuitive workflow and navigation, and how quickly they
can enter data and receive a quote," Pippins said. "This new system really
improves agents` ease of doing business with Main Street America."

Main Line BOP and Main Street Station for Commercial Lines are being rolled out
on a state-by-state basis throughout all of the states where Main Street America
writes commercial lines business.
