Veolia Transportation Wins Stanford University Shuttle Contract

Contract Award is Three Years With Options 
PALO ALTO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Veolia Transportation has been awarded a contract to operate Stanford
University`s bus shuttle service known as the Marguerite Shuttle. The contract
is for three years with a one-year extension option. 

The announcement was made this week by Veolia Transportation`s Regional Vice
President for Northern California Ron Bushman. In making the announcement,
Bushman said, "Partnering with Stanford University to provide much needed
shuttle service to the schools, medical center and hospitals is very exciting
for us. Veolia Transportation has a strong presence in California and we look
forward to this opportunity to deliver the same high quality transportation and
customer service for which we are known." 

The fleet of 43 vehicles operates seven days per week and provides
transportation to students, faculty and staff, servicing the entire campus. This
includes the medical center comprised of the Stanford School of Medicine, the
Stanford Hospital and Clinics and the Lucile Packard Children`s Hospital. This
service will also extend to two Caltrain stations that transport approximately
5,000 Stanford students, employees and faculty to the campus each day.
