Shenandoah Life Announces Accumulated Rollover Benefit for Group Dental Insurance
Shenandoah Life Announces Accumulated Rollover Benefit for Group Dental Insurance New Benefit Helps Keep Participants from Using or Losing Their Benefit Dollars ROANOKE, Va., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Shenandoah Life Insurance Company announced today that it has added a valuable benefit to its group dental insurance product to reward people who practice good preventive dental care. The new Accumulated Rollover Benefit allows participants who have insured dental claims, but have not used a significant portion of their annual benefit, to rollover a portion of their unused benefit dollars. By requiring that some dental claims are filed, the benefit encourages participants to regularly visit their dentist and to take care of their teeth. Participants can use the accumulated benefits to help pay for more costly, extensive dental work should it be needed in the future. "Allowing participants to rollover their unused benefit dollars reinforces the importance of proper oral hygiene," said Cynthia Light, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Shenandoah Life Insurance Company. "Studies continue to prove the link between oral health and overall health. Taking care of your teeth and regularly visiting your dentist is essential. The Accumulated Rollover Benefit stands behind this notion." The Accumulated Rollover Benefit is available to all new Shenandoah Life dental insurance plans where at least 10 employees are eligible. Shenandoah Life Insurance Company, headquartered in Roanoke, is a mutual life insurance company with $1.9 billion in assets and $15 billion of insurance in force. The company was founded in 1914 and operates in 31 states and the District of Columbia.
