ALLENTOWN, Pa., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Penn Treaty Network America
Insurance Company, a leading long-term care insurance (LTCi) provider, today
announced the addition of two new national marketers to assist in the
development of the company's PersonaLTC(TM) platform for financial advisors.
John Bigos and Brian Hamilton will be responsible for building and
managing relationships with financial advisors and broker dealers, as well as
providing marketing support. The company's innovative platform for
distributing long-term care insurance through financial advisors supplements
Penn Treaty's established field marketing organization distribution model.
"We are pleased to welcome John and Brian to the Penn Treaty team," said
William W. Hunt, Jr., president and CEO of Penn Treaty. "They come to us with
a wealth of experience and professional accomplishment that will enable
financial advisors to make Penn Treaty's long-term care insurance products a
core offering within their clients' portfolios."
Bigos and Hamilton will promote Penn Treaty's PersonaLTC(TM) platform,
which assists financial advisors in the otherwise complex sale of long-term
care insurance products. In addition, a nationwide support network of
independent local long-term care insurance specialists are available to
provide sales assistance to financial advisors.
John Bigos has experience in both the financial services and insurance
industries. Before joining Penn Treaty, he was an independent investment
executive for Securities America where he served as a financial advisor and
stockbroker. Prior to that, Bigos spent six years in the brokerage industry as
a financial advisor and stockbroker for Prudential Securities and 15 years in
the insurance business as a sales manager and sales representative for
Prudential and American General Insurance.
Brian Hamilton joins Penn Treaty from Cambridge Sports, which he
co-founded in 2006 and where he served as vice president of e-commerce/web
acquisition. At Cambridge Sports, Hamilton engineered a business-to-business
e-commerce marketplace for athletes to connect with their businesses which
included web sponsorship, content management, brand development and marketing.
Hamilton earlier worked as a sales and marketing director for Tiburon
Marketing where he managed strategic alliances, client acquisition and
management.
