TELEFORD, PA and SUNNYVALE, CA, Feb 26 (MARKET WIRE)
--
Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global leader in wireless LANs and
secure unified mobility solutions, and Draeger Medical Inc., an international
leader in the field of medical and safety technology, today announced the
execution of a technology solution provider agreement for medical network
and bandwidth management. Under the agreement the companies are undertaking
joint
marketing programs, Aruba has issued a Compatible Partner interoperability
rating to
Draeger Medical's Infinity(R) OneNet solution, and Draeger Medical has qualified
Aruba's Multi-Service Mobility Controllers and access points for use in the
OneNet solution using both dedicated and shared wireless networks.

"Infinity OneNet allows vital patient monitoring information to be sent over
Wi-Fi networks using Aruba's bandwidth management, QoS, and security features,"
said Peter Mongroo, Aruba Global Healthcare Marketing. "Aruba's unique traffic
management technology ensures that bandwidth will be made available for
patient monitoring data, while our Compatible interoperability rating provides
assurance to integrators and end users that the Draeger Medical and Aruba
products have been tested to work well together."

Traditional application traffic management systems can be very costly and
are
not always suitable for use with wireless LANs. Aruba's ability to enforce
high security standards ensures that only those devices that meet the security
requirements can access the Wi-Fi network. Security enforcement at the
application
and physical layers by Aruba's infrastructure ensures that data collected from
patient monitors are completely secure throughout transmission, while
built-in QoS capabilities ensure that sensitive real-time data are protected
against
latency and jitter. Bandwidth management allows hospitals to dynamically
allocatebandwidth to individual or groups of high-priority devices, such as
Draeger's Infinity Patient Monitors. When patient monitors are not present Aruba
automatically frees reserved bandwidth for other uses.

"This agreement reinforces our commitment to standards-based technology that
supports clinical efficacy and simplifies the lives of hospital IT
managers," said Steve Menet, Director, Enterprise Patient Monitoring and
ITof Draeger Medical Inc. "The OneNet solution represents a new way of
thinking about patient monitoring networks and Aruba enables the system to
operate very efficiently from a price/performance perspective. We are very
pleased to be an Aruba technology solution partner, and look forward to
working with Aruba to bring new technologies to our customers."
