Winston & Strawn Adds High Profile Litigators in Charlotte and D.C.
Prominent Litigator T. Thomas Cottingham III Brings Team to Winston CHARLOTTE, N.C. and WASHINGTON, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Winston & Strawn LLP announced today that prominent litigator T. Thomas Cottingham III and a team of several other attorneys have joined the firm from Hunton & Williams LLP. The group is comprised of three partners: Cottingham, Nash E. Long III and John M. (Jay) Holloway III; and one of counsel, Jack M. Knight Jr. A number of additional lawyers are expected to join in the coming weeks. With the exception of Holloway, the team will practice in the Charlotte office. He represents national and multinational corporations in jury trials, class actions and alternative dispute resolution involving environmental, consumer law, intellectual property and patent, securities, antitrust, lender liability, product liability and commercial contract disputes. He has tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts, before arbitration panels and administrative agencies across the United States. Cottingham earned his juris doctor, cum laude, from Cornell Law School. Nash E.
