eBatch provides fast, convenient access to nationwide arrest and demographic
data

LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Appriss, the leading provider of
technology services to criminal justice agencies across the country, has
unveiled its latest tool to help investigators generate information on persons
of interest. eBatch allows law enforcement officials to determine whether an
individual has been arrested and be notified of that arrest. It is the latest
entry in a series of new products and services from the Kentucky-based
technology company.

"eBatch allows users to upload names to query against OffenderNet, the
national near real-time offender database, and the Social Security
Administration Death Master File," said Brian Oldham, executive vice president
of Appriss. "Criminal justice leaders can also register to be notified when a
person of interest is incarcerated."

eBatch pulls information from more than 40 million records in 31 contributing
states including 1,600 jails and 17 departments of correction. Information
includes last known home address, phone number, employer, and more. Unique
identifiers include FBI number, state identification, and driver's license
number, as well as six million booking photos.

eBatch can query the Social Security Administration Death Master File and
retrieve such information as the Social Security Number, full name, birth and
death dates, and last state and ZIP code of residence. The master file also
includes the ZIP code of where the lump sum death payment benefit was sent.

"A number of criminal justice agencies can benefit from this new tool," said
Oldham. "Child support enforcement, sheriffs' departments, missing persons
units, and warrant departments can use this to seek information in a fraction
of the time it would normally take to generate leads. The information made
available through eBatch can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

Appriss recently launched DataBridge, the XML interface that allows law
enforcement to extract national booking data for a variety of investigative
needs.
