Novel Produces Inter-Dimensional Roller Coaster Ride

Gilvarry's debut will keep young readers on the edge of their seats

CAIRNS, Australia, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Vincent Gilvarry reaches out to
young readers with his debut novel, "A Strange Twist of Fate" (published by
Trafford), as he shares the story of Adrik and Diego, two seemingly
dysfunctional kids, who are a lot more savvy than they appear.

The fictional novel is born out of the idea of an imaginary, energetic world,
where the characters engage with cosmic energies as a normal course of events.
An intuitive, artificial game catapults Adrik and Diego into a parallel world
where they encounter the spectral form of an armadillo, the first in a series
of disturbing signs that their world is in danger. Their fortunes change
almost immediately when a stranger from another dimension steps out of an
energetic doorway and into their hotel room in Arinyah only to confirm their
worst fears. They have no choice but to run headfirst into an adventure of a
lifetime.

"I suspect this story has been waiting around in the background for a long
time and if I had not picked it up and run with it, it would not exist today,"
Gilvarry said. "I am of the belief that ideas such as this come from a huge
storehouse that we accumulate during the course of our lives. It is possibly a
fictional version of something that I might have experienced at one time or
another, but whether it is or not, I don't really know. What I do know now is
that I wrote this story for two reasons; the first was to remind myself of
something I needed to know and the other was that I have always wanted to read
a story like this."

Vincent Gilvarry grew up in a large family in one of the world's most
beautiful places -- Cairns, Australia. He eventually pursued a career in the
arts and earned a qualification as a teacher at college and university. He
also worked at a large psychiatric hospital in Melbourne in a one-of-a-kind
