Ooyala's Online Video Platform Drives Success of Publicis-Owned Honeyshed's
Promotional Content Advertising Model
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Honeyshed, an interactive shopping test site owned by Publicis, is using Ooyala
Inc., a leading global online video service provider, to power its online video
initiatives across its corporate website and syndication network. Honeyshed is
expected to be one of the first businesses to redefine advertising through the
use of promotional video content, often referred to by media as "MTV meets QVC."
Ooyala Backlot provides Honeyshed with the infrastructure and products to easily
brand and publish advertising-based content. 

Using Backlot, Honeyshed is streaming promotional content for brands such as
Sephora, Nike and Volvo on www.honeyshed.com. Ooyala's platform offers
intelligent APIs and robust branding controls to customize the appearance of the
