REG-SVM UK Active Fund: Treasury Stock

SVM UK Active Fund plc announces that on 6 July 2009 it has cancelled 37,000 of
its Ordinary Shares that were purchased a year ago and held in Treasury.

Following the cancellation, the issued share capital of SVM UK Active Fund plc
will comprise 36,182,324 Ordinary Shares and 150,000 Shares still held in
Treasury.
