CTIA-The Wireless Association Welcomes Jacqueline McCarthy as Director of State Regulatory Affairs
WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)-- CTIA-The Wireless Association announced today that Jacqueline McCarthy will join the organization on July 15th as its Director of State Regulatory Affairs. In this role, her focus will be to continue to elevate state-level awareness and understanding of the wireless industry`s initiatives and policies by working with state regulatory bodies, state regulators, 50 regulatory commissions and national regulatory state associations. "Jacqueline is going to be an effective wireless advocate and valuable resource to the industry with her background in wireless network deployment advocacy and understanding of telecom and regulatory policy." Ms. McCarthy joined CTIA after having served as Director of Government Affairs for PCIA-The Wireless Infrastructure Association. Prior to her time at PCIA, Ms. McCarthy served as the Managing Director of Land Use & External Affairs for Network Building & Consulting, LLC. Ms. McCarthy began her career as an Associate at Venable, LLP in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stetson University and a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.
