Search Technologies Works With US Government Printing Office to deliver XML Version of Federal Register

Project praised for rapidly furthering the Obama administration`s Open
Government initiative


HERNDON, Va.--(Business Wire)--
Search Technologies, the premier independent provider of enterprise search
expertise and integration services, announced today that it had delivered, with
the Government Printing Office, a searchable XML version of the Federal Register
to Data.gov.Under an on-going contract, Search Technologies has also designed
and implemented the search and document processing elements of the GPO`s new
Federal Digital System (FDSys), www.gpo.gov/fdsys

The GPO together with the US Federal Register, were recently praised for the
speed with which the migration of more than 10 years of Federal Register data
was achieved.According to Ray Mosley, Director of the Federal Register quoted in
a GPO news release last week, "The Government Printing Office and the Office of
the Federal Register accomplished a minor miracle in warp-speed time."
