pxldust.com Accents Experimentation
LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--
Stating that students produce "trend setting art sparked by their experimental
natures," yet have few marketing channels exclusively showcasing their
creativity, a veteran area designer/art director announces the introduction of
www.pxldust.com, a global design networking and competition site exclusively for
student artists.

Focusing on three key art mediums - illustration, graphic design and photography
--- www.pxldust.com invites students to participate in a voting process by
displaying and rating one another`s work.

"Students design for themselves. This means the work they create isn`t
controlled by market or industry needs. They experiment more than professionals,
making what they do closer to fine art than commercial art," said Matt Ansoorian
of Los Angeles, CA, creator of www.pxldust.com.

Commenting on Pxldust`s voting procedure, Ansoorian said, "In the end, students
actually determine who gets published in the Pxldust digital magazine
(www.pxldust-mag.com), as well as a bound print book."

Defining the special niche his site fills, Ansoorian stated, "Art students on a
global level really have no way of observing one another`s work. An art student
enrolled at Cal Arts in Valencia, CA currently has no way of knowing what a
student from Florida State University is doing. This becomes critical today
because the competition for jobs extends beyond locality. Freelance
opportunities exist on a global level, and students need to know where they
stand relative to the competition."

He added that www.pxldust.com is also being marketed to creative professionals,
affording them an opportunity to recruit young talent or interns directly from
the site.

"Having art students all in one place is very helpful for creative directors and
art directors in need of innovative young talent. This site can also be a useful
recruitment tool for colleges and universities," Ansoorian said. Contact Matt
Ansoorian at info@pxldust.com.
