SCOTTSDALE, AZ, Jul 14 (MARKET WIRE) --
iGo, a leading provider of portable power management, has made a pledge
to support and maintain the iGo Recycles program in conjunction with the
Environmental Protection Agency's Plug-in to eCycling. The program is a
voluntary partnership between the EPA and electronics manufacturers to
offer household consumers more opportunities to donate or recycle their
used electronics.

"iGo has always had an eye to the planet's future with our universal
chargers that reduce e-waste by enabling consumers to use just one
charger with every laptop and device they own," said Michael D. Heil,
president and chief executive officer of iGo. "Partnering with the EPA's
Plug-in to eCycling was the next logical step in our green commitment and
we're proud to be involved with the EPA."

In 2008 alone, Plug-in to eCycling partners collected and recycled 68
million pounds of used consumer electronics in the United States. As a
result of these recycling efforts, partners prevented the release of
greenhouse gases equal to the annual emissions from approximately 16,800
cars. Since its inception in 2003, manufacturers and retailers have
expanded their programs from event-based collections to include tailored
electronics reuse and recycling programs.

The iGo Recycles program has the company working with Waste Management,
North America's largest recycler, in order to ensure all iGo products are
recycled responsibly. Waste Management recycles products in conjunction
with WMRA ISO Certifications and the BAN Environmental Stewardship
Pledge. Waste Management complies with all local, state and federal laws,
rules and regulations. iGo's website, www.iGo.com, features all of the
necessary information and resources for consumers to learn about
recycling their electronics.

The EPA Plug-in to eCycling partnership coincidentally comes just in time
for the launch of the new iGo Green(TM) Technology product line expected
in stores and online later this year. Featuring the first green laptop
charger, an eight-outlet surge protector and a wall outlet, iGo Green
Technology products automatically use 85% less standby power than
standard power products, saving both energy and money.
