Company`s eFiling System Offers Simple Process for Consumers Filing Court
Documents and Payments via the Web
WOODSTOCK, Ga.--(Business Wire)--
nCourt, LLC, a leading provider of eFiling and payment solutions for lower
courts, today announced that its eFiling system is available to help Florida`s
lower courts comply with recently passed Senate Bill 1718. Signed into law by
Governor Charlie Crist, SB 1718 requires that Florida`s Supreme Court set
statewide electronic filing ePortal standards that will be used by the Clerks of
Court starting this past July 1. The standards are to specify the required
information for the duties of the Clerks of Court and the judiciary for case
management, with the clerks beginning implementation of electronic filing no
later than October 1. Free of any installation or set up charges, nCourt enables
Florida courts to instantly meet all electronic filing standards that were set
forth by the Supreme Court on June 15th.

Provided at no cost to the courts or taxpayers, the nCourt service will provide
citizens with the ability to file court documents including small claims,
garnishments, and eviction proceedings via a secure, bilingual Web system. As it
does with every state it works with, including the most recent Texas Online
system, nCourt will always comply with all further electronic rules and
regulations determined by the State of Florida.

Already successfully used by Florida`s Duval and Franklin counties, nCourt is
also taken advantage of by residents of Georgia, New York, Delaware and
Tennessee. Jurisdictions leveraging nCourt are able to save money on court clerk
resources, increasing their productivity and service to the community. With Pro
Se litigation on the rise due to costs of attorney fees, filings are clogging
the court system since the majority of Pro Se litigants do not have the
knowledge of how to appropriately navigate the court process. nCourt offers
users step-by-step guidance through the filing process, ensuring that documents
are properly filled out and submitted to the court. The system is available 24
hours a day, seven days a week and comes with a professionally staffed,
bilingual customer service center.

"There are many conflicting responses to the passing of SB 1718," said David
Morris, CEO of nCourt. "The reality is, this law opens the door for many
benefits to both the courts and citizens. On the court side, the clerks will be
able to process documents, collect fees and serve the community faster and more
efficiently. For citizens, the electronic filing process ensures accurate and
expedited filing, convenience and cost-savings. This law is a win-win for
everyone and we at nCourt can guarantee Florida reaps the greatest rewards from
eFiling."

"nCourt has tremendously benefited our court system on many levels," said Court
Clerk Phyllis Willis of Bibb County, GA. "Not only has the service enabled us to
streamline all of our lower courts processes for our clerks and residents, it
has greatly increased our revenue and reduced many roadblocks and delays often
associated with lower court filings. Another added benefit to the system is that
it has significantly cut down on traffic in our office. Our citizens love it!"

Additional nCourt benefits include improved tracking of filings to multiple
courts, fewer returned filings or delayed filings due to incomplete information
or incorrect payment, and immediate notifications once case numbers, court dates
and service dates are set. To learn more about nCourt, or to begin filing in
