SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined June Traffic for SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic
Southeast Airlines

ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq:
SKYW) reported a 4.9 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for
June, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 1.9 percent compared to the
same period last year. The combined airlines generated 1.63 billion RPMs for
the month, while ASMs increased to 1.98 billion. Load factor was up 2.3
percentage points to 82.3 percent compared to 80.0 percent for the same period
last year. Passenger boardings for June totaled 3,214,410 a 5.0 percent
increase from June 2008.

SkyWest Airlines, based in St. George, Utah, and Atlantic Southeast Airlines,
Inc. ("ASA"), based in Atlanta, Georgia are wholly owned subsidiaries of
SkyWest. SkyWest Airlines operates as United Express, Delta Connection and
Midwest Connect carriers under contractual agreements with United Airlines,
Delta Air Lines and Midwest Airlines. ASA operates as a Delta Connection
carrier under a contractual agreement with Delta Air Lines. System-wide,
SkyWest serves a total of approximately 208 cities in the United States,
Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, with approximately 2,400 daily departures.
