Devils to Host UNICEF Night

Two Organizations Team Up October 28 to Support Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
Campaign & Help Victims of Recent Natural Disasters in Asia Pacific

NEWARK, N.J., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Hockey League's
New Jersey Devils will host the U.S. Fund for UNICEF Night on Wednesday,
October 28, when the club hosts the Buffalo Sabres at Prudential Center at
7:00 PM. The evening will benefit UNICEF by raising funds and awareness to
help, among others, victims of the recent natural disasters in the Asia
Pacific region.

Mayor Cory Booker and president of the Newark Municipal Council, Mildred
Crump, will attend tomorrow's game.

"Each day, 24,000 children under the age of five die from preventable
causes--many in the countries that have recently been affected by the recent
spate of natural disasters in the Asia Pacific region," said Caryl Stern,
president and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. "By lending their support,
everyone involved in the New Jersey Devils organization is ensuring that these
emergencies will not further compound the tragedy of these unnecessary
deaths."

Timed to coincide with Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, concourse stands on
Prudential Center's main and upper concourses will feature UNICEF collateral
and information about how to participate in this year's Trick-or-Treat for
UNICEF campaign. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is one of the longest running
youth volunteer movements in America.

Trick-or-Treat, to quickly and efficiently responding to emergency situations

The night will also include an autographed "Mystery Puck" sale in
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes. Every puck is signed by a Devils' player,
coach, or alumnus, and will be individually wrapped so the identity remains a
surprise until after purchase. Pucks are available on the main concourse
near Verizon Tower for $25 each with net proceeds to benefit UNICEF.
Additionally, a portion of the proceeds of tickets purchased through UNICEF
will help support the organization's programming and emergency response
efforts.

The iconic orange collection boxes and pins will be distributed to fans, while
the team's mascot, N.J. Devil will distribute Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
t-shirts during the game to further raise awareness.

As a special treat to local kids, the president of the Newark Municipal
Council has identified 50 students from Newark Tech High School, and the Tommy
Hilfiger Corporate Foundation has made it possible for these young people to
attend the game.

The Newark Tech High School has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report
magazine as one of the best high schools in the nation.
