MEDIA ADVISORY: Press Conference/Labor Rallies At Four Sites Across
Pennsylvania In Support of IBEW Local 459 Members On Strike at Penelec/ First
Energy

There will be Press Conferences / Labor Rallies at four sites across
Pennsylvania on Wednesday July 8, 2009 at 5:00 PM. The purpose of these
simulataneous events is to report on the ongoing strike at Penelec/First
Energy and to discuss the events surrounding the strike.

These press conferences/rallies will enlist assistance from all of Organized
Labor in this struggle against corporate greed and the power that this Company
has demonstrated against workers. The announcement of future action plans
along with a demonstration of solidarity between various Labor Groups will be
viable outcome.
