Tri-C and Ursuline College Announce Art Therapy Exhibit and Symposium

HIGHLAND HILLS, Ohio--(Business Wire)--Best-selling author and speaker Larry Terkel will visit Cuyahoga
Community College's Eastern Campus to give a free lecture on Thursday,
February 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Eastern Campus Theatre Lobby. The
following day, February 8, Terkel and other community experts will
lead a 'rejuvenation workshop' from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the
Daley Dining Hall at Ursuline College, 2550 Lander Road in Pepper
Pike. There is a $45 charge to attend the workshop.

   Tri-C's Liberal Arts Department/Pre-Art Therapy Program and
Ursuline College are presenting the workshop, as well as an art
exhibit titled: "REJUVENATION: Restoration and Healing for Caregivers
and Professional Health Care Providers." The exhibit is free and open
to public, and runs February 7 through March 3 at Gallery East on
Tri-C's Eastern Campus, 4250 Richmond Road in Highland Hills. The
artwork featured in the exhibit is by nationally known guest artist
Donna Drozda. Art from several other well-known community artists will
also be on display.

   World-renowned author Larry Terkel's workshop is titled: "Empower
Your Life and Work." Terkel is the author of the best-selling
self-help book: "Small Change: It's the LITTLE things in life that
make a BIG difference."

   "We are excited to have Larry Terkel, a nationally-recognized
expert in empowering one's self and one's work, as the keynote speaker
for this year's event!" said Mary Sender, Art Therapy Faculty at
Tri-C.

   Internationally known Jyoti, (Jeneane Prevatt, Ph.D.), will take
part in the workshop. She's the founder of the Center for Sacred
Studies, and teaches how to take care of oneself as a healer in the
modern world.
