New Jersey Woman Wins $1 Million Raffle Top Prize From Pennsylvania Lottery

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., July 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Donna Cantwell of 
Lumberton, N.J., is the first winner to step forward to claim one of four $1
million prizes from the Pennsylvania Lottery's July 4 Millionaire Raffle
drawing.

Cantwell presented her winning ticket for validation at Lottery headquarters
in Middletown, Dauphin County, today. Cantwell and her husband say the
winnings will help them pay off bills and invest for retirement.    

"I play Powerball every week, but now I will start playing other PA Lottery
games," said Cantwell, who purchased her first Millionaire Raffle ticket for
the July 4 drawing.  "This may be the beginning of a lucky streak!"  

Cantwell purchased her winning ticket at SN Food Mart, 80 E. Oregon Ave.,
Philadelphia.  

The other three top-prize winning raffle tickets remain unclaimed. They were
sold at Acme Market, 808 E. Street Rd., Warminster, Bucks County; Gerrity's
Supermarket, 320 Meadow Ave., Scranton, Lackawanna County; and Latrobe Center
Distributing, Inc., 1032 Latrobe Thirty Plaza St., Latrobe, Westmoreland
County.  

Each store will receive a $5,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery for
selling a top-prize-winning raffle ticket.  


The $1 million top prizes must be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at
Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters, 1200 Fulling Mill Rd., Middletown, or at
any of the Lottery's seven regional offices. A list of offices is available at
www.palottery.com.  Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4
p.m. at Lottery headquarters and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at regional
offices.    

Claims for the $100,000 prizes can be filed at any of the Lottery's seven
regional offices or at any licensed Pennsylvania Lottery retailer. Holders of
Millionaire Raffle tickets worth $1,000 and $100 can claim winnings at local
Lottery retailers.

The four $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers selected were: 00101931,
00201179, 00364562 and 00381511. The four $100,000 raffle ticket numbers were:
00038421, 00118345, 00309508 and 00351240. A complete list of all 6,000
winning raffle ticket numbers is available at Lottery retail locations and at
www.palottery.com.  

The four $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers; four $100,000
second-prize ticket numbers; 100 prizes of $1,000 each; and 5,892 prizes of
$100 each -- a total of 6,000 prizes --- came from a pool of 500,000 tickets
that were sold between April 27 and July 4.

This was the eighth Millionaire Raffle drawing.  For a list of top-prize
