Patriarch Names Gen. Howard Yellen as Executive Vice President
NEW YORK, July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriarch Partners, LLC has announced today that Brigadier General (Retired) Howard W. Yellen will join the company as an Executive Vice President and lead its newly created Defense and Interagency Platform effective July 20, 2009. General Yellen will provide executive oversight, coordinate strategic initiatives, and exercise selected management control for those Patriarch portfolio companies that possess business opportunities with the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. General Yellen possesses more than 33 years active duty experience with the United States Army where he served in senior leadership positions including Deputy Commanding General for U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, Chief of Staff for the U.S. Special Operations Command, and Commander of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. General Yellen has a BA in Biology from Temple University, an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College and an MS in Systems Technology from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He also attended the U.S. Army War College and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
