MORRISTOWN, NJ, Jul 14 (MARKET WIRE) --
The Board of Trustees of Ellsworth Fund Ltd. (NYSE Amex: ECF) declared
its ninety-second quarterly dividend today.

The $0.065 per share dividend is payable from net investment income on
August 27, 2009 to shareholders of record August 13, 2009.

Ellsworth Fund Ltd. operates as a closed-end, diversified management
investment company and invests primarily in convertible securities, with
the objectives of providing income and the potential for capital
