Guests HaveUnlimited Opportunity to Earn 500 Bonus Points per Night and 5,000
Bonus Points Every 10th Night at More Than 890 Hotels Worldwide
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(Business Wire)--
To kick-off its 10th anniversary celebration, Starwood Preferred Guest® today
announces the launch of a rich, new promotion that rewards members with 10,000
bonus Starpoints® for every 10 nights stayed now through April 30, 2009.

Developed in direct response to member feedback, the "Night After Night"
promotion heralds the return of the wildly popular reward of 500 bonus points
per night. But the nightly rewards are now richer than ever with the addition of
5,000 bonus points for every 10th night stayed. Both new and established SPG
members have an opportunity to earn unlimited bonus points during this period
and can begin accruing immediately by registering at www.spg.com/nights.

SPG Starpoints can be redeemed for free nights at more than 890 participating
hotels and resorts worldwide and Award Flights on hundreds of domestic and
international airlines - all with no blackouts. Free Night Awards begin at just
2,000 Starpoints, which means after 10 nights under the "Night After Night"
promotion, guests will have earned five Free Weekend Nights.

Starpoints can also be redeemed for gift certificates from SPG`s retail partners
at www.spg.com/redeem. And through SPG Moments, members can use their points to
escape to the extraordinary. The online auction enables members to bid on
once-in-a-lifetime experiences, like receiving the VIP treatment at red carpet
Hollywood movie premieres, championship sporting events and the year`s hottest
concerts. A full list of current experiences for auction can be accessed at
www.spg.com/moments.

With SPG Flights, the groundbreaking new program launched in September, members
can redeem Starpoints to cover the entire cost of flights. By booking air travel
at www.spg.com/flights, members can search for and select their preferred flight
and class of service, and even earn airline miles. SPG Flights allows member to
book flights with No Blackouts and includes taxes and booking fees in the price
of the flight.

Designed as the simplest, most flexible and rewarding program of its kind, SPG
launched in 1999 as the first hotel loyalty program to offer members no
blackouts when redeeming points. Giving millions of members unprecedented access
to more upscale and luxury hotels in more countries than any of its competitors,
SPG has captivated travelers and generated loyalty through rich rewards,
outstanding member recognition and distinctive redemption options. SPG is also
the winner of more Freddie Awards than any other loyalty program.

In addition to hotel stays, everyone can earn Starpoints by using the Starwood
Preferred Guest credit card by American Express which gives new members 10,000
Starpoints with the first purchase and has no annual fee for the first year.
Also, up to 20,000 Starpoints per calendar year can be purchased by going to
www.spg.com and there is no Starpoints expiration date for active members.
