Integrated Delivery Pioneer Increases Presence in West Coast Market
SAN DIEGO--(Business Wire)--
McKinstry, the building performance experts, today announced the selection of
Tom Bowen to lead the establishment of its new Western regional headquarters and
direct its Energy and Facility Services operations. The new headquarters is
located in San Diego. Bowen, former Vice President of Sempra Energy Services in
North America, is leading the charge to help McKinstry grow its California
client base while offering a comprehensive suite of energy-related solutions
that includes energy procurement; energy efficiency; demand response;
sustainability; design/build; facility operations; contractor selection and
management; carbon footprint reduction; retro-commissioning; energy modeling;
and performance-based contracting. Joining Bowen is Michael Moriarty, former
Director of Project Delivery for Sempra. Moriarty`s extensive project
development and implementation experience provides McKinstry with a strong
leadership foundation to guide the expansion.

A California native, Mr. Bowen brings 20 years of energy services experience to
his new role, having managed successful teams throughout North America focused
on energy and environmental initiatives. A former board member for the National
Association of Energy Services Companies, his knowledge in diverse markets will
allow McKinstry to position their unique brand of services and differentiate in
the State. Bowen`s extensive knowledge and experience in diverse markets will
enable McKinstry to create value for customers locally while expanding
McKinstry`s presence.

As an eventual next step, Bowen and Moriarty plan to expand further into Arizona
and Nevada, servicing clients with meticulously planned and seamlessly executed
sustainability programs that have come to characterize McKinstry. In 2008,
Barack Obama brought McKinstry into the national spotlight by citing the company
as a "Model for the Nation" for its thought leadership and advocacy of moving
the country towards a greener, more sustainable economy. With Bowen and Moriarty
added to the leadership team, McKinstry will continue to solidify its position
as an industry leader in energy efficiency and sustainable design/build
services.
